The Summer crescendo
We hope your summer has felt nourishing and grounding in the midst of all the chaos it can often times bring.
August has always felt like this sense of a crescendo— like the fullest expression of Summer.
We find ourselves off our typical routines and schedules.
We begin to really reap harvest of that which we planted months ago. Everything is in full bloom. We find some of the hottest days here in Michigan.
And all at the same time… we find the sweetest landing.
It’s like all the moving pieces of the previous months begin to settle.
We wrap up summer activities. We begin the slow return to routine. Back to schedule.
We always love to see this pattern and in this we can begin to ask ourselves… what will be the energy around the return?
How will we slow down, and savor these moments?
Seizing the moments that come along the way of these transitory weeks.
What will I slow to see?
What will I call in for this coming season?
What practices will I take to support?
It can be so easy to bend to life’s demands and forget to quite literally slow and see. We can wait around forever to give ourselves permission to SAVOR.
Slow. See. Savor.
