NOVEMEBER

NOVEMBER

Letting go, sinking back, nourishing, and beginning again.

“The trees become their strongest in autumn. They are not bearing fruit or producing leaves. All of their energy is pushed down into their roots. So what externally appears as death, is actually the catalyst for new life.” ⁃ unknown

November is not only the month of releasing and letting go. November is a sacred month, representing transition and integration. Surrendering to the shift, however that looks for you. Releasing the human grasp on control, the ultimate act of trust. Rerooting, sinking deep into your roots. Integrating what gives your soul true nourishment. Calling you forward in what breathes you life. Opening the door to curiosity and exploration, with the softest heart. Leaning into you.

When we allow ourselves to become curious, we open ourselves to discoveries and expansion.

What grounds you? What serves your soul the nourishment it craves? What is the intention? How can you integrate your discoveries into your daily experience?

Staying awake in this practice of life and holding what we find close to our hearts throughout the months to follow.

A piece of my heart to yours,

My grounding tools in this season :

⁃ Dedicating the time to enjoy a meal and warm beverage before I begin my day.

⁃ Melody Beattie’s Journey to the Heart daily meditation & journal reflection.

⁃ Guidance cards.

⁃ Take a yoga class.

⁃ Burning Palo Santo with intention.

⁃ Mid-day breathwork.

⁃ Bundle up and go for a walk.

⁃ Before-bed meditation with essential oil aroma.

⁃ Lighting candles on candles on candles.

Move into meditation

Getting grounded into the body with Adri Haden

November, a month of intentionality. I am learning to let go of rushing through the motions and releasing what is out of my control. Getting out of my mind, and into my body in order to truly appreciate my life as is. I am learning to notice my strength and my power within and to truly embrace who I am to my core.

Mantra: I am strong from my core through my entire being. I am capable of all I set my mind to and I am worthy of all I desire. I choose to create a life I love.

Movement: Plank

Begin standing with your feet at the back of your mat, grounding through each and every part of your feet. Take a deep breath in as you lift your arms high, filling your lungs and noticing expansion within your ribcage. Gaze up at your fingertips as they spread wide taking up space. Then exhale fully and swan dive forward allowing your upper body to hang, your head below your heart. Notice the sensations that arise in this inversion and breath, inhaling and exhaling as you simply notice your feelings as well as your breath.

Slowly walk your hands out one palm connecting with the earth at a time until your heels are over your toes, legs stretched out and engaged, core tight, micro bend in your arms, palms underneath your shoulders. Hold plank pose.

Close your eyes and focus on your breath fueling your strength. You are creating one long line of energy, noticing your power coming from your core. Supporting your whole body.

Notice where your thoughts go. Allow them to come and to drift away as your physical state becomes harder to maintain, while your chest rises and falls. Pause here in the stillness.

Your core. Engage it. Breathe into it as it contracts, building power within. Notice your strength. Become aware of your power.

A strong core is necessary for movement, for supporting daily function. Having a strong core reduces injury, improves posture, and even reduces anxiety. Build yourself from within. Notice your core, the way you can become stronger from your center and the way this strength travels to your entire being.
