JULY

Summer season can so suddenly become all about the chaos. The weather pulls our lives outside, and we fill our calendars to the brim.

As we are now a full month into the summer swirl, we are pausing to reflect—

is what you are doing really working for you?
Can you really truly see yourself in all the places you are arriving?

What if the summer season was a chance to slow our roll, to take our time.

Holding space to be still. To be in our homes and to choose the energy we want to engage with each day by day.

We love that July holds Independence day and we get to think about FREEDOM. What does it feel like to take 100% responsibility for yourself first and foremost in this life? A freedom to choose to SEE yourself and honor your needs. To slow down long enough to take all of you in.

Can you consciously chose to take your time and just savor a moment in your own presence.
Finding places to find YOU every day. Maybe a class, or a meditation practice in the mornings. Maybe quiet walks or journaling at your lunch hour?

Really small moments that help you land into each day so it doesn’t slip away too fast.

So you stay in connection. So you savor and feel your life.

So you may SEE yourself along the way, in every season.

We have several tools in this blog that are invitations to moments like these. We love you so much.

Enrollment has opened.

For the coming home you didn’t expect. A explorative uncovering of YOU.

September - December 2022.

Let it be a beautiful message. Let it be big. Let it take time. Let it be relevant. Let it be about freedom. Let it be about looking in. Let it be about seeing each other. Let it be about you.

WHY WE NEED THE HEAT

We know, the heat of the Room can be a total deterrent to you getting here and taking time to get your practice in.

The heat is an element.

It’s a layer.

In some regards it can feel like a barrier.

But what we often so easily forget, it is also an invitation.

The thing about the heat— it presses against us, but only for so long. When you stay in the heat, it conditions you to crave the heat. To need it. When we pull ourselves out too often, we don’t build the tolerance thats necessary to carry on. This tolerance create endurance. Endurance is what carries us forward into LIFE. Mentally and spiritually stronger. Ready to take on what every happens next, with courage and groundedness.

So can you stay? In the heat.
When you take classes,

remind yourself that the heat is for you.

What the heck is Access Bars anyway?

Learn more about this beautiful modality.

Access Bars is a type of energy work. It is a body process that someone facilitates for you, and is a 32 touch point electromagnetic system on your head, my head-all heads. Myra Chopp has become very passionate about this process, as she is living its rewards, as a frequent receiver of Bars herself.

Everything is energy. We know this because of science. Our energetic bodies exist and are just as real as our physical and emotional bodies, and yet because they are unseen, this is something we often fail to attend to. Access Bars helps us release old, stuck energy. Old traumas, old unprocessed emotion, judgments, limiting beliefs, opinions, considerations, energetic charges-these are everything Bars helps us release. When these old energies are gone, space is created inside of our beings and our bodies and we have the freedom to choose what we fill that space with. What beliefs we replace-what truths become true for us.

Access Bars helps us release the stuff we have worked so hard to release but just for some reason can’t. They help us release the energy of the old story we have worked so hard to move from. Bars are another tool, just like movement, journaling, therapy, voice release, and the like to help us move from the place of victim to victor. With Bars, we realize we have the ability to choose what becomes real for us.

A Bars session can be very relaxing-you lay on a massage table while Myra holds different spots on your head. You can fall asleep. You can go into an altered state of consciousness, similar to a meditation. A session can look lots of different ways and part of the process is trusting and releasing the grip of control. She is offering sessions at the Space during the weekdays, and working around the studio’s class schedule. Your first session is 75 minutes followed by sessions of your choice of either 60 or 75 minutes. She recommends starting with three session in close succession because it takes a while for the body to soften to this process.

If this sounds like just the thing you’ve been missing, maybe it is. If it feels frightening because of the possibility of what change could come from this, be scared. Bars can change your life. Let Myra facilitate your Bars session today.
