FEBRUARY
February: A Month of Love
As we’re in the midst of February, the heart of winter, and hearing that there are (sadly) still six more weeks left lol, I’ve been led back to the reminder that we are the love.
We always have the ability to spread love and create ripples, no matter how big or small.
Cultivating love within your own life starts internally. It looks like reframing negative thoughts and intentionally rewiring your brain to see things in a more compassionate, positive light. It’s learning to bring yourself back to the present moment instead of trying to solve everything; every problem, every outcome, every “what if.”
Staying present, loving, and caring makes more of a difference than you realize. We often forget the power of our mindsets until we put them into action, and then we feel the results. And trust me, boy is it a daily practice, and it’s a doable one.
Lately, I’ve been feeling the pressure of getting things done, reaching certain goals, and building loving, positive relationships, and it’s easy to get overwhelmed and caught in the whirlwind of life. Annnd… when that happens, I find it helpful to shift the dialogue:
Catch it. Check it. Change it.
Catch the thought. Check whether it’s serving you. Change it into something more aligned with love.
Bring awareness to what’s happening internally and notice how you can create more of a difference, starting with your own mind. Cultivating more love in all areas of your life doesn’t have to be extreme. It can be subtle. It can be small. It can simply be choosing a softer thought. It can be choosing hope.
This month, maybe love isn’t just something we give to others, maybe it’s something we practice being.
So much love to you Space community!

If the Fire Horse Year Feels Like Pressure, Read This.
By Liv Monte
This might be an unpopular opinion —
All this talk of the Fire Horse year.
Of emergence. Of crossing a threshold.
If I’m honest, it has felt a little triggering for me.
I have spent so much of my life working hard, moving from a hustle mentality, believing that effort and vigilance were what created safety and success. So when I feel all this energy around acceleration and power, I notice my nervous system tighten.
There is so much energy swirling around the entrance into the Fire Horse year that, instead of feeling expansive, its felt overwhelming— I notice the invitation of transformation turning into anxiety.
And if I’m really honest?
I’m already a little over it… and it’s just started!!
The intensity.
The urgency.
The “this is your moment” energy.
It makes me want to brace.
So as I move from Snake year to Horse year, I want to remind myself of the true energy of the horse.
Horses are stoic.
They match the energy around them.
They are deeply sensitive, attuned to the slightest shift in breath, posture, or emotion. I experienced this firsthand in my Yoga Teacher Training when we practiced yoga on horses.
Powerful in their presence, yet there is a softness about them.
But that softness is not automatic.
It requires patience.
It requires love.
It requires groundedness.
A horse does not respond to force, it responds to attunement.
To steady breath.
To a regulated body.
To clarity without aggression.
And so as I journey from this to that, I return to a steady current within myself.
Because if I am already fatigued by the pace— if I am already tempted to grip, then this is my cue to stabilize.
To anchor before I accelerate.
To ground before I expand.
To choose steadiness over spectacle.
A place where I can stand in my power and hold space— without gripping, without hustling, without performing.
I release the expectation of urgency.
I soften the vigilance.
I soften enough to hold space for what wants to emerge instead of forcing what I think should.
And instead… I arrive.
Not in a blaze.
Not in a sprint.
But in a grounded and authentic space.
I arrive into this beautiful opportunity to claim what is already mine in this life.
And I hope you give yourself that permission too. 🙏🏼🐴♥️

Lauren Booth created this heart forward playlist for you.
Flow with Hayley
as she does a “building block” flow.
- Start with down dog, and come to Warrior 1, 2, 3
- Layer in Letter A, B, C, D
- Curtsy serve, bound standing splits, standing splits, switch kick and vinyasa.
Repeat as many times as you'd like, building momentum and fire.
Change the pace with some mountain climbers between the sets, and notice your heart rate climb, focus sharpen, and flow state take over.
In honor of the Horse year, this is about steady momentum. Strength. Endurance. Forward energy.
She recommends playing music you love, but Tryptonic by Dream Delight Balkan Bump remix is a great one to start with!
