January : celebrating all that is
Welcome 2020
We step into a new year and instantly want to begin something new.
What would life look like if you just arrived as you are. Right here, right now. Instead of shape shifting, we pause, observe, realign, and move forward smoothly. Not rushing or exiling things, or habits, but allowing the celebration of life to guide us into transformation. Renewing the appreciation, gaining new perspective, and re-arriving with self. Its not about restricting, or abandoning self, its about meeting you where you’re at, finding sweet embrace, acknowledging all that you have conquered so far in life, and letting celebration be the practice that guides you home. to you.
Notice today how you approach yourself in this new day, new month, new year, new decade. Tread gently. In love. With grace. Find things to celebrate that already exists within you.
We love you so much.

some goodness with us.
Here’s what you contributed to this Holiday Season
We are nothing without our community and giving back is our most favorite thing to do. Heres a few things we’ve been able to do with your help that are changing the world around us.
Thanksgiving Class taught by Myra raised over $300 that went directly to The epilepsy foundation of Michigan. Helping further research and create tools.
We donated 20+ bags of supplies to the Ann Arbor Safe House for families in need with The Generosity Project
We adopted a struggling family from a local school and were able to provide them different needed items for Christmas. Our clients gave above and beyond and blessed this family substantially!
Christmas Eve’s Class taught by Liv Monte raised over $450 for Created, a Tampa Fl based non-profit that helps women get off the streets and out of the sex industry.
New Years Day Class taught by Lauren Camilleri raised almost $200 for the Wigs 4 Kids foundation.
We are doing BIG things, and thats just in the last month! Thank you for making this our biggest Holiday season ever, giving back in the name of love, its YOU who is making a difference! It takes a village, lets take care of each other.
Redefining relationships
Join us in this 2nd edition of The Process. Redefining relationships. As we embark into a new year, a new decade, we have an opportunity to redefine relationships we have with others, and most importantly, the relationship we have with ourselves. In this four week series we will Reflect, Rewrite, Reclaim, and Reconnect with various parts of ourselves in order to step into relationships in a more meaningful way. Kelli McMullen will guide us into our bodies through movement, and Communication and Relationship expert Susie Kamen, LMSW, CIRT, SILC will be guiding our processing.
This is about getting to the root of YOU to create more fluidity in how you connect with the world and people around you. Get out of your own way and create the life and relationships you desire!

LETS MOVE
As we enter the slower season, we find restoration is physically slowing too. Today we focus on opening the hips, as we open up to a new season of life.
Pose : Pigeon Pose : Kapotasana
How to : From downward facing dog, lift your right leg high, bend twist and open to create space in the hips. Bring the right knee to the right wrist, right ankle to the left wrist. Walk your left toes back, hands still planted in the earth, rolling the shoulders back, opening the heart. If you can maintain the upright position of your pelvis without the support of your hands on the floor, bring your hands to the top rim of your pelvis. Push heavily down. Against this pressure, lift the lower rim of your rib cage. The back ribs should lift a little faster than the front. Without shortening the back of your neck, drop your head back. To lift your chest, push the top of your sternum straight up toward the ceiling. Connect the left foot to the hands, pause and breathe.
Benefits : this pose stretches the groin, neck, shoulders, thighs, abdomen and chest. While stimulating the abdominal organs, this pose offers a deep opening of the chest and shoulders. There are many places to soften into in this pigeon pose. If you need a modifier, simply pause along the way where your body can find a place to be at ease.
New year, Same you.
Stay steady. Stay connected. Stay consistent.
Keep taking good care, and it will all work out as it should.
See if today instead of wanting to change it all, you can find ways to celebrate the moments, the experiences, the pain, the joy, the parts of life that have led you to here.
Right here, right now.
We love you.
Warmly,
the Team
